NOTICE TO PATIENTS
Since the foundation of Tawstock Medical Centre in 1994 we have always endeavoured to make appointments easily available and have empowered our receptionists to be as helpful as possible in providing a same day service.
In the last year this has become increasingly difficult due to a variety of circumstances, mostly related to the excessive workload, national shortage of GPs and our rapidly increasingly list size – we have increased from 4500 in 2014 to our current list size of over 6950. These are all factors outside our control and as a result we find that we are struggling to provide same day appointments.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding if you are unable to book an appointment as easily as you would like, but please be mindful that this is not the receptionist’s fault. Thank you.
