NHS Direct– Help at the click of a button

NHS Direct is asking people in Somerset to use their online ‘symptom checker’.  The advice comes as the current cold weather had led to a 50% increase in the number of calls to the service – mainly from people who believe they are experiencing flu like symptoms.  To check your symptoms online visit the NHS Direct symptom checker at:  http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/en/CheckSymptoms
